Ben Wilson is an artist from the North West of England. Originally working as a painter, Wilson often expands this approach to alternative mediums such as drawing, sculpture and installation through his love for experimentation. The foundational notes within Wilsons making, is centred around ideas of comfort, desire and coping. These themes are often expressed through a combination of his use of nostalgic, personal and mundane actions, alongside textural and tonal exaggeration through a contrast in bold figurative marks and sensitive blending of paint.
